Peanut Butter Honey Energy Ball Recipe

We made these for Week 13 in the My Father’s World studying insects. These we made pretending to be bees. They are nutritious and delicious!

We pretended to be bees flying from flower to flower and gathering ingredients. Then we used two wooden spoons as our legs to mix them together to make our beeswax and honey.

2/3 cup organic unsweetened creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup Enjoy Life mini chocolate chips

1 cup old fashioned rolled oats (we used Quaker Old Fashioned)

1/2 cup flax seeds

1/4 cup wheat germ

1 1/2 Tablespoons honey

Optional:

– Extra honey or melted chocolate for drizzling

Blend all ingredients (outside of the “optional” ingredients).

Make balls about the size of a Tablespoon with your hands.

Refrigerate for at least an hour.

Eat and enjoy!
